chibicandy01's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KAZAN...FANTASY KAZAN... a new love... ahhh i wish i can read more .. so here is a preview of the story.. ;} It takes place on an alien desert planet. Kazan is the sole survivor of the Red Sand clan who were all wiped out by a Water Witch who are people that can summon up water to destroy their enemies(like Miz Mishtal from EL HAZARD). Kazan runs into Fawna, a girl with the same powers as a Water Witch. He knows that she is the key to finding the truth to what happened to his tribe. The two of them, along with the funny old explosives expert Arbey, travel to the distant land of Goldeen where it is said that those who command the water elements dwell. Through their exploits, they also bring peace to the places they visit on the way. There is a wonderful mysterious backdrop to the whole story, especially the one surrounding Kazan himself who even though he has the body of a 10 year old should be much older than that, kinda like Vash The Stampede from TRIGUN. Miayo's artwork is astounding and keeps the story moving with his great style. KAZAN takes the majesty of the old Arabian Nights stories and combines it with modern day action.
